Tim Martin has over 19 years of residential lending experience assisting over 4,000 individuals and families with their residential purchase and refinance mortgage needs. He began his career completing mortgage transactions spanning the nation and developing an understanding of real estate customs and practices in various states. Beginning in 2010, Tim focused his efforts on closing transactions in the state of Connecticut. In the 10 years since, he has risen to be the top producing Loan Officer in the Northeast Region for Guaranteed Rate Affinity. His primary focus in Connecticut has solidified his expertise in all aspects of the local real estate market and helps him stand apart from competitors. With a network of real estate agents, real estate attorneys, insurance providers, and other real estate professionals, Tim can assist clients in all aspects of the real estate process. Tim and his team deliver award winning customer service to clients, referral partners, and colleagues as proven with the many positive reviews, testimonials, media interviews, and recognitions he has received. Working together with individuals from all aspects of life, Tim specializes in customizing financing to meet his client’s specific needs. His mission is to guide people through the ever-changing process of obtaining a competitively priced mortgage while making the experience as seamless as possible. His goal is to educate people on their options and explain the process using clear language so clients can make informed choices appropriate to fit their unique needs. He recently placed among the distinguished rankings of two mortgage industry leading publications: The Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators list (2018, 2019) and Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 1% Mortgage Originators in America (2018, 2019). He has also received many production awards and client satisfaction recognition; a member of the President’s Club at Guaranteed Rate Affinity as a multiple year recipient and most recently a member of the distinguished Chairman’s Club, awarded to a small group of recipients exclusively for volume exceeding $100,000,000 in one year (2020). In addition to CT, Tim maintains an active mortgage license in Florida to assist clients with homes there also. Personally, Tim received his formal education at Rutgers University, School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, graduating with high honors. When he is not guiding clients through the home financing process, he resides in Fairfield County where he may be found coaching his 3 children in baseball and softball and enjoying time with his wife, friends, and family.
